                    ii) Group discussion followed by quiz programme

Age Group : 13 yrs (Class VIII - 40 students)

Brief Description : The above said research was carried out by students. They were divided into 8 groups to carry out research & collect information through internet & all available channels like books, newspapers, articles magazines etc, Report on the findings displayed on the board.

A group of students proved their technical skills by taking a video coverage & capturing the vivid moments of the day through their cameras.

A group discussion was held to enhance their communication skills & encourage team effort. This was followed by a quiz programme which was evaluated by the teacher- in-charge.

Learning Outcomes

1. To appreciate the value of plants.
2. To gain knowledge about practices, beliefs and experiences of medicinal plants for prophylactic use
3. To gain knowledge of treasures stored in nature
4. To develop team spirit
